East London Textile Arts
was set up in 2010 by local people of different faiths and ethnicities to make textiles reflecting the cultural diversity of the area. It is a small project reliant on its own fundraising and works in partnership with galleries, musuems, schools, arts and local community organisations. I was the founder and was its director till 2019 and am now a Leader alongside Sonia Tuttiett and Rachael Matthews.
